A proposed renewable energy project that will deliver up to 1,000 megawatts of clean power to Queensland’s electricity grid.
Renewable Energy Partners is pleased to introduce the Lake Dalrymple Wind Farm, a proposed renewable energy project that will deliver up to 1,000 megawatts of clean power to Queensland’s electricity grid.
Located west of Collinsville, the project site was chosen for its strong wind resources and proximity to existing infrastructure and both operating and planned renewable energy projects. Together, these factors support an efficient connection to the grid while reducing the need for additional transmission investment.
The project is currently in the early stages of development, with planning and approvals processes set to commence shortly. Environmental surveys will help us better understand the local landscape and ensure any potential impacts on native plants, wildlife and the surrounding community can be avoided or minimised.
Community engagement is central to how we work. We are committed to building genuine relationships with local residents, neighbouring landholders, First Nations peoples and the broader community. As the project progresses, there will be regular opportunities for community members to learn more about the project, ask questions and provide feedback.
A Community Benefit Fund will be established to support local groups, not-for-profits, sporting clubs and schools. This initiative will continue throughout development, construction and operations. The fund is intended to deliver lasting benefits that reflect the priorities of the local community who live and work in the region. Please subscribe to our newsletter to hear when submissions for the fund open.
This website and our newsletters will be our main channels for sharing project updates, key milestones and community news as the Lake Dalrymple Wind Farm progresses. We encourage you to check back regularly or sign up to our newsletter to stay informed.
